Thanks & Giving

I’d like to begin by wishing you and your families a safe and happy Thanksgiving (or Thursday if you happen to not be celebrating). Surely you’ll be spending quality time with your friends and families today, catching a game of football, cooking, and eating lots of delicious food. This is important and I encourage you to enjoy these activities to the fullest.

All I ask is that on this day, we keep in mind that today is really about recognizing what we are thankful for. Your health. Your home. Your job. Anything at all. Take a moment to reflect on what you are thankful for. Then remember the latter half of Thanksgiving (the giving part, that is). You don’t have to give much. You don’t even have to give anything tangible at all. Dish out some extra compliments today. Give a warm smile to those around you. Connect with a long-lost friend just for the sake of giving them a friendly hello. Whatever you do today, give something that will make the world a better place.

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!
